This song was inspired by true life experiences and is very dear to me.
Depression is something that has always been prevalent in the world but has always been frowned upon by society.
The goal of the message of this song is to remind people that they do not have to go through their struggles alone, and that, love and support are often so much closer to them than they realise.
I sincerely hope that people struggling with depression will find the courage to reach out to others for help, so that in turn, they may one day become the people that others may reach out to for the same reasons.
lyrics
I lost it all, now my life is empty for real
My house got robbed, for every penny you feel
I'm getting beat down got nothing more than a beat now
I’m here but absent
and my face now wears a deep frown
I'm mad and fed up I'm, running out of luck again
My nerves are busting
They make me want to cut my skin
But hold up, I may be hurt but I ain't broken yet
remember I can swim even though I'm deep and soaking wet
Heck, ok I’ll put my sound on Q
I got my peoples and my family I can count on too
Let's do it , "Let's Do it"
let's hold on until there's nothing to it
until the life good and pain is just a muffin chew it
Sometimes I find the answer when I look up at the sky
Sometimes a let down is just a blessing in disguise
I Feel a new light a flight ready to depart
Cuz all you need in times is support and a recharge
When your heart feels all alone
When the days are getting cold
Turn to those who love you most
And you’re never on your own
When your world turns upside down
And there’s no one else around
Look to better days
There’ll be better days
Even if it feels so dark sometimes, you can always find a way out,
Talk about it, Write a song, or even Scream,
Shout "Aaah Can anybody here me now!"
and You'll feel better already, trust me, all in a silly hour.
So give it time, stay in line and you'll be back to fine.
Sooner or later you can laugh at what you left behind.
For all the moments you thinking that maybe time's up
Remember No matter how low you fall you can rise up!
Is somebody out there to help me
Can someone show me the light?
I’m stuck in this moment, will I make it tonight?
Is somebody out there to fix me
And take the pain away
I know in my heart I can make it right
When your heart feels all alone
When the days are getting cold
Turn to those who love you most
And you’re never on your own
When your world turns upside down
And there’s no one else around
Look to better days
There’ll be better days
So keep your head up, look into the sky
Don’t look back, everything will be alright
Find the inner strength in you
When your heart feels all alone
When the days are getting cold
Turn to those who love you most
And you’re never on your own
When your world turns upside down
And there’s no one else around
Look to better days
There’ll be better days
There's gonna be better
There's gonna be better days
There's gonna be better
There's gonna be better days
